About the Role

- Deliver assessment and therapy services across the lifespan

- Conduct speech, language, swallowing, AAC, and diagnostic assessments

- Provide direct and indirect intervention to clients and families

- Liaise with families, teachers, support coordinators, schools, and other professionals

- Deliver services within clinic, schools, homes, childcare centres, supported accommodation settings, and aged care environments

- Participate in regular case discussions and collaborative multi-disciplinary planning

- Travel to rural and remote communities across the NT, including day trips and occasional overnight stays

Essential Criteria

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology

- SPA membership and Eligibility for a medicare provider number

- Professional Indemnity Insurance

- Current Driver’s Licence

- OCHRE Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid Certificate (CPR and First aid) and Criminal History Check (within 3 months)

- Up-to-date vaccinations

- Experience supporting individuals with ASD and other disabilities

- Experience conducting a range of speech, language, swallowing, AAC, and diagnostic assessments

- Experience with report writing and clinical documentation

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong organisational and time management skills

- Willingness and ability to travel for service delivery across the NT
