About The Role And Where You’ll Be Working

Remain connected to the local community at our charming, heritage style aged care house in Victoria Park, Kalgoorlie. Victoria Park House accommodates up to 51 residents in bright, cheerful rooms across three small households, each providing 24 hour personalised care. The house also offers aged care and short‑term respite accommodation, creating a warm and supportive environment where individuals feel safe, valued and at home.

As a Carer, you’ll be playing an important role assisting residents with their daily activities such as showering & getting dressed. We want them feel safe, and at home in our facilities.

This is a casual Care Worker role working across morning and afternoon shifts.

Your Responsibilities Will Include But Not Limited To

- Carefully read & follow care plans
- Assist with personal care
- Work under the guidance of Shift Managers (Nursing & Facility)
- Treat our residents & their family with respect
- Show compassion & exercise patience

About You

You are someone who connects with the values of Southern Cross Care WA and understands the meaningful impact this role has on the lives of older people. You’re confident working independently and find fulfilment in spending time with elderly residents, supporting them with dignity and kindness.

To Be Considered For This Role You’ll Need

- A Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Care




- Initiative & the ability to effectively prioritise & multitask
- Great communication skills (spoken & written)
- Attention to detail for good record keeping
