This business is currently undergoing an exciting period of growth and transformation. Our Client is seeking aQualified Financial Controller to join the business in a pivotal leadership role, offering a mix of strategic involvement and hands‑on operational responsibility.

About the Role:

This is a high‑impact position within the finance function, ideal for a commercially astute finance professional with strong leadership capabilities and a passion for driving process improvement. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in managing day‑to‑day financial operations, developing a high‑performing finance team, ensuring robust cash flow forecasting and supporting the strategic financial planning process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the production of monthly management accounts and all aspects of the month‑end process
- Lead, manage and develop the finance team, ensuring clarity of roles, expectations and performance standards
- Review and oversee transactional finance processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain adherence to financial processes in line with relevant regulatory requirements




- Build strong relationships with non‑finance stakeholders, supporting budgeting and financial planning across departments
- Enhance financial systems, controls, and reporting frameworks
- Take ownership of cash flow forecasting and working capital management
- Deliver insightful financial analysis to support business‑wide decision‑making

About You:

- ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified
- Proven experience in a senior finance role, with a strong track record of team leadership
- Exceptional skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Demonstrated strength in cash flow forecasting
- Proficient in Excel and financial reporting tools
- A strong communicator with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Emotionally intelligent leader with a collaborative and motivational management style
- Highly organised, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively
- A proactive and solution‑focused mindset, with a strong emphasis on process improvement and regulatory compliance
