Associate Director / Principal Structural Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Structural engineering design on a wide range of projects across numerous market sectors.
- Establishing and maintaining personal relationships within the local market.
- Collaborating with clients, consultants, and contractors on projects.
- Managing projects, including fee estimates, tender submissions, technical documentation, project scheduling, and achieving budgets and deadlines under senior staff guidance.
- Providing technical input to projects as required.
- Attending site meetings and inspections as needed.
Ideal Candidate
- Our client islooking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with the following characteristics:
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in structural engineering design and project delivery.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in engineering consultancy.
- IStructE or Chartered Engineering credential.
- A well-rounded structural engineering skill set with a keen interest in further developing these skills.
- The capability to liaise confidently and clearly with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A robust work ethic to achieve collective results.
- An agile, outcomes-oriented project delivery focus.
