Compas is seeking an experienced Security Incident Response Specialist to support the design, implementation and operation of security controls across complex information systems. This role suits a security skilled with strong incident management, risk assessment and advisory experience, working across sensitive digital platforms and external integration environments.
Location: ACT, VIC, NSW, SA or QLD
Contract Duration: 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2029, with a possible 12-month extension
Security Clearance Requirement: Current Baseline clearance required

Essential Tasks
- Manage and investigate suspected cyber security incidents.
- Provide advice on physical, procedural and technical security controls.
- Conduct security risk, vulnerability and business impact assessments.
- Support security frameworks,
standards, assurance practices and AI usage protocols.
Key Criteria
- 3.5–5.5 years’ experience in information security or security incident response.
- Strong understanding of information security controls and compliance requirements.
- Experience with risk assessments, vulnerability assessments and incident management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders.
