The role:
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Real Estate Director to lead strategic real estate management for a high-profile government client portfolio in NSW. This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll drive portfolio optimisation, ensure lease compliance, and deliver exceptional stakeholder outcomes while leading a high-performing team.

Reporting to the Account Director, you'll provide expert real estate advice, oversee critical lease transactions, and build strong relationships with government stakeholders to support their property and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic real estate advice and oversight to optimise client portfolio performance, identifying opportunities for portfolio consolidation, utilisation improvement, and cost reduction
Oversee all leasing events, renewals, terminations, and space planning activities to ensure 100% of lease events and obligations are proactively managed and closed on time with zero compliance breaches
Maintain accurate lease, property, and compliance registers with no overdue reconciliations, conducting regular quality assurance reviews to identify and rectify any data gaps or non-compliance
Establish and maintain defined lines of communication with client property stakeholders, acting as the primary point of escalation for all CRE-related matters and ensuring stakeholder feedback consistently meets or exceeds portfolio benchmarks
Lead, support, and manage the CRE team to ensure strong performance and delivery of services, conducting regular workflow reviews, monitoring workload distribution, and implementing individual development plans
Work closely with Asset Management,



Facilities Management, Finance, and Lease Administration teams to support all deliverables and ensure seamless service delivery across the account
Report portfolio occupancy, utilisation, and compliance regularly and accurately to the Account Director, providing visibility on core deliverables, risks, opportunities, and resource management
Drive continuous improvement in service quality by enhancing workflows, driving innovation, and maintaining high employee morale through constant engagement and mentoring

What You’ll Bring:
An Australian Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain baseline security clearance
Minimum 10 years' experience in commercial property or corporate real estate, with a proven track record of driving delivery to the highest standard
Current Real Estate Licence or Certificate of Registration is essential
Tertiary qualification ideally in Property/Real Estate
Robust negotiation skills with proven experience in commercial leasing, property and/or transaction management
Goal oriented with excellent client service, communication, and relationship management skills
Proficient at troubleshooting, problem solving, and managing complex, concurrent issues within tight operational deadlines
Strong portfolio strategy, compliance, and stakeholder management capabilities with ability to foresee, plan, and tackle issues proactively
Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of team morale and drive continuous improvement in performance standards
Established credentials and credibility with past employers and associates is desirable
