The position of Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food to Seoulful's recipes and standards while maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items during service.
- Complete food preparation before each shift.
- Follow recipes and portion sizes.
- Maintain food quality and presentation standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely.
- Keep the kitchen clean and organised throughout the shift.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Complete opening and closing kitchen duties.
- Work efficiently as part of the kitchen team.
- Follow directions from the Head Chef and management.
- Perform other reasonable duties as required.
Skills and Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast paced setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual and organised.
- Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
