Ab out the role

As the Centre Cook at Goodstart Sinnamon Park, you'll be responsible for preparing healthy, nutritious meals and snacks that support children's wellbeing and development.

Working closely with the Centre Director and Educators, you'll help create positive mealtime experiences while ensuring all food is prepared safely and in accordance with dietary requirements and food safety guidelines.

In this role, you'll:
✨ Prepare healthy and nutritious meals for children each day

✨ Cater for allergies, cultural needs, and special dietary requirements

✨ Plan menus and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director

✨ Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness

✨ Create positive mealtime experiences that encourage healthy eating habits

✨ Work a consistent part-time roster of 25 hours per week

✨ Contribute to a welcoming and supportive centre community

What you'll bring

✔ Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within an early childhood education and care setting

✔ Current QLD Working with Children Check





✔ Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training via the Geccko platform

✔ Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements

✔ Passion for creating nutritious meals and positive experiences for children
