We are seeking a Backpackers Manager who will bring energy, confidence, and a positive attitude to our team. As the leader of our Brisbane backpackers' accommodation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a welcoming atmosphere, meeting people from across the globe, and ensuring every guest’s stay is unforgettable.

Primary Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations including reservations, reception, room service, and housekeeping.

Manage security protocols and ensure proper upkeep of the property.

Lead recruitment, training, and performance management for staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

Monitor and enhance guest satisfaction, resolving any issues to ensure a positive experience.

Manage financial responsibilities, including budgeting, procurement, and inventory control.

Provide guests with information on local tourism options and coordinate tours and transportation as needed.

Maintain the online booking system and build strong, positive relationships with clients.





Flexibility is essential; candidates must be available for various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications and Experience:

A tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field is required.

Proficiency in computer applications, with a basic understanding of database management considered advantageous.
