About the role

As an Assistant Accountant at Peter Warren Automotive, you will be part of a close-knit finance team at Warwick Farm, contributing to a broad range of accounting functions that keep a large, multi-franchise business running smoothly.

You will also:

- Process accounts payable and receivable, building or reinforcing your confidence across end-to-end transactional finance
- Assist with month-end close activities, developing your understanding of reporting cycles in a complex, multi-site environment
- Prepare bank reconciliations and balance sheet schedules, sharpening the accuracy and discipline that define reliable accountants
- Support the preparation of management reports with direct reach to senior stakeholders, giving your work meaningful visibility
- Liaise with dealership teams across the network, broadening your commercial awareness well beyond a traditional finance role
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, where a fresh perspective or an idea grounded in experience is equally welcome

About you

You are at an early stage of your accounting career, either just graduated or a couple of years in, and you are looking for a role where your effort translates into genuine professional progress.

- You hold a completed or near-completed degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
- Some hands-on experience in an accounts or finance role is part of your background, though recent graduates are equally encouraged to apply

- Robust Excel skills allow you to work efficiently with reconciliations and financial data
