About the Role
Join a well-established manufacturer supplying high-quality plant health products to the agricultural industry, including fertilisers, soil conditioners, and biostimulants.
We're seeking Production Operators to join the team in permanent positions. This hands-on role combines machine operation, batching, forklift operation, quality checks, and general production duties within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you enjoy physical work, troubleshooting machinery, and being part of a supportive team, this is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career.
About You & Responsibilities
- Perform regular manual handling of up to 25kg throughout the shift
- Current Forklift Licence highly regarded (required for day shift; training available for the right afternoon shift candidate)
- Operate production machinery and assist with machine troubleshooting
- Batch and weigh raw materials to production specifications
- Bag finished products and prepare pallets for dispatch
- Complete quality checks and production documentation accurately
- Operate counterbalance forklifts to move raw materials and finished stock (essential for day shift, highly regarded for afternoon shift)
- Assist with general warehouse and production duties
- Maintain high standards of workplace safety, housekeeping and quality
- Previous experience within chemical, industrial or heavy manufacturing environments preferred
- Comfortable working in a dusty powder-based manufacturing workplace while wearing required PPE
- Reliable, safety-focused and committed to producing quality work
