Les Bistronomes restaurant is an award winning fine diner, based in the heart of Campbell shop in Canberra and provides a fantastic opportunity to excel and showcase your skills within a passionate and energetic kitchen team.

THE ROLE
As the leader of the kitchen team you will be involved in a hands-on operation in a very busy and fast paced kitchen, within a team of up to 7 chef/kitchen staff.
Extended experience in high end quick paced or hatted restaurant is a must . You must have a true passion for food and an artistic approach to plating and presentation of dishes for our customers.
Maintaining quality and consistency is a key factor in the day to day running of our kitchen.

Working Closely with executive Chef Clement Chauvin

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Previous experience in high end fast paced or hatted restaurant background in a similar role and be able to demonstrate robust career progression over a requisite number of years.
- Needs to be comfortable managing a busy kitchen with a high level of consistency and creativity.




- The successful applicant will have outstanding organisational and communication skills.
- To follow all food hygiene guidelines in accordance with H&S; and FCP
- being able to create new dishes and old french classics

This is a permanent Full-time role , with opportunity to grow in the company with future development project.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
