About the role:
A Parts Interpreter sells automotive parts and accessories, identifies the correct replacement parts for vehicles and supplies them to our customers and workshop technicians.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Parts Interpreter OR an Apprentice Parts Interpreter to join our Parts department based in Taren Point!
This position is Full time; Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 4:00pm.
No experience is required! This is a great opportunity for an aspiring junior looking to start a career in the Automotive industry or someone wanting to complete an apprenticeship and earn a nationally recognised qualification while gaining valuable hands-on experience.
Your future role will look like:
- Sales, stock control & administration duties relating to automotive replacement parts
- Responding to customer enquiries via counter, telephone and email providing product advice and technical parts support
- Preparing quotes & parts documentation
- Working closely with our Service team to identify and supply the correct parts, ensuring productivity and efficiency
- Selling automotive products and services
About you:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional phone manner
- No prior experience required; a genuine passion for the automotive industry is essential
- Reliable, punctual and demonstrates a strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
