The Opportunity
As a result of continued growth our Data, AI & Analytics team is looking to hire Executives (equivalent to a Manager/Senior Manager/Associate Director in Big4 consulting) to grow our data governance, privacy, AI and digitised risk solution offerings in Australia. We support our clients by working in close collaboration with our legal counterparts and teams across Risk Advisory to deliver a best-in-class legal-led consulting services.
As an Executive, you will be responsible for leading client delivery, maintaining key client relationships, reviewing and shaping high-quality client artefacts, and contributing to the growth of the Risk Advisory practice and Data, AI & Analytics team.
Across a regular week as an Executive, you will
- Lead and co-lead engagements, working with our clients to develop artefacts and recommendations that address complex data governance, risk and privacy challenges.
- Be responsible for structuring and managing the end-to-end project scope,
budget and matter admin, developing project plans, identifying resourcing needs, delegating and reviewing work across the project team, meeting delivery dates, assisting in coaching junior members of the team.
- Develop proposals including designing the proposed approach for delivering client solutions, design the scope of work, cost estimates, and identify relevant expertise and experience required to suit the client's needs.
- Assist in building and fostering trusted client relationships with integrity including liaising directly with clients and leading client meetings, when required.

We are interested in hearing from you if:
- You are an experienced consultant with demonstrated expertise in data and AI governance, data risk and privacy, and a proven track record of delivering complex client engagements.
- You have 5-8 years' experience advising organisations on data governance, data risk and privacy, ideally within a leading consultancy, professional services firm or regulated industry.
- You are passionate about helping organisations navigate complex data, privacy and regulatory challenges, and translating those challenges into practical,
defensible and commercially focused solutions.
- You have strong experience applying privacy regulation (including the Australian Privacy Principles) and data risk management standards (including APRA CPG 235 - Managing Data Risk) in practice.
- You have proven experience delivering value to clients through the design and implementation of data and privacy strategies, data governance frameworks, operating models, risk management processes, and AI governance and responsible data use initiatives.
- You have experience managing multiple engagements simultaneously, including project planning, stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, proposal development, commercial management, quality assurance and delivery oversight
