You will be directly working alongside Personal Care and Registered Nursing staff and as part of an experienced care team.
You will conduct professional care practices including; admission, assessment, care planning, complex nursing care and the review/evaluation of the effectiveness of interventions, in partnership with residents/representatives
You will demonstrate the ability to recognise the importance of history and culture to health and wellbeing when assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individual care plans
You will be able to establish professional communication and relationships with residents and their representatives
You will be able to coordinate the delivery of evidence based, person-centred care to residents according to individual care plans and documented policies and procedures and ensures accurate and timely documentation.
You will in close partnership with other members of the health team including the lifestyle program staff and other health professionals as appropriate in consultation with the residents/ representatives
You will plan, allocate and delegate duties to staff according to their training, experience, competence and scope of practice
You will be responsible for the safe administration of medication,
including the appropriate delegation to and supervision of Enrolled Nurses and PCAs administering medication
You will be able to provide leadership and assists with staff performance management including appraisal, coaching and tool box training as required
Job Type and Category
The position is part time/ full time and involves rostered hours including weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster.

Pay: $43.33 – $51.26 per hour
