A busy and well-established restaurant located in the heart of Townsville City, Queensland is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our growing team.

Position: Chef (Full-Time)

Salary: $80,000 per annum + Superannuation

Location: Townsville City, QLD

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, cook and present high-quality meals in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards.

- Plan menus and develop current dishes in consultation with management.

- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during food preparation and service.

- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety regulations.

- Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation.

- Order, receive and manage kitchen stock and supplies.

- Minimise food wastage and control kitchen costs.

- Maintain a clean,



organised and efficient kitchen environment.

Essential Requirements

- Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.

- At least 2 years of full-time relevant experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.

- Strong knowledge of food preparation, menu planning and food safety practices.

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

- Excellent organisational and communication skills.

- Availability to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as required.
