Electrical Site Representative – Wind Farm Project

Location: Burra, South Australia (Site-Based)

About the Prospect

Airswift is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Representative to join a major renewable energy project in South Australia. This role will support the delivery of a large-scale wind farm development, including wind turbine generators, high-voltage transmission infrastructure, substations, electrical reticulation networks, and associated commissioning activities.

Working as part of the Owner's Engineer team, you will provide independent oversight of electrical construction, testing, energization, and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards. This is a surveillance and assurance role rather than a contractor delivery position.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide site-based oversight of HV, MV and LV electrical construction activities.

- Monitor installation, testing, energization, and commissioning works.

- Conduct inspections and quality surveillance activities across electrical infrastructure.

- Review inspection and test plans (ITPs), commissioning documentation, test records, and quality documentation.

- Monitor contractor performance, progress, and compliance with project requirements.

- Maintain site records, inspection reports, issue registers, and photographic evidence.

- Support interface management across electrical, civil, transmission, and commissioning scopes.

- Provide regular reporting to the Owner's Engineer and client project teams.

What you'll need to have





- Strong electrical engineering, commissioning, construction, or site supervision experience.

- Demonstrated experience across HV, MV and LV electrical infrastructure.

- Experience within renewables, wind farms, substations, transmission, mining, utilities, power generation, or major infrastructure projects.

- Practical knowledge of protection systems, SCADA, communications, metering, and commissioning activities.

- Experience reviewing ITPs, commissioning procedures, QA documentation, test packs, and completion documentation.
