Luma: For Her Health & Wellbeing
Perth
Come and make a real difference to the health of women in Western Australia. If you're looking for a role with purpose, we'd love to hear from you.
Bring your financial expertise to Luma and help our team make informed decisions that support the women we care for. You'll play a key role in driving our daily financial operations, making sure we meet government and regulatory requirements while working closely with team members across Luma.
This is a part-time role, based mostly at our Northbridge office. You'll focus on maintaining financial records to the highest standard, supporting grant acquittals, and making sure we meet our reporting obligations. You'll also help translate all things finance for our front-line managers, supporting their own confidence and understanding.
What you'll do
- Lead the flow of daily finances: Take charge of day-to-day operations as an all-rounder, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices and payments, and keeping our financial records accurate.
- Drive insightful reporting: Own the month-end process by preparing accurate journals and accruals, and deliver clear, practical financial statements and management reports that support strategic decisions.
- Champion grant acquittals: Help secure our funding by preparing and submitting detailed, timely reports that meet compliance and reporting standards.
- Be the backbone of audit readiness: Coordinate audit preparation by gathering and presenting the documentation we need, supporting both internal and external audits with confidence.
- Collaborate on budgets: Work closely with the executive team to prepare annual and periodic budgets,
keeping us aligned with our goals through accurate forecasting and informed resource allocation.
