Brief Description

About the Role

Securecorp is seeking an experienced Security Site Supervisor to lead security operations at a retail site in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position (8:00am – 5:00pm) offering a competitive flat-rate salary.

In this leadership role, you will oversee a small team of six Security Officers, ensuring the delivery of professional security services, exceptional customer service, and compliance with site procedures. You will act as the key liaison between the client, site stakeholders, and your security team, driving operational excellence and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all visitors, tenants, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, supervise and support a team of six Security OfficersManage daily security operations, staffing requirements and roster coverageEnsure compliance with site procedures, security protocols and company standardsConduct regular site inspections, audits and patrolsRespond to incidents,



emergencies and escalations in a skilled mannerInvestigate incidents and prepare accurate reports and documentationMaintain strong relationships with the client and key site stakeholdersProvide coaching, mentoring and performance support to security personnelIdentify risks and implement proactive security solutionsPromote a positive safety culture across the site

Skills & Experience

Current Security Licence with Crowd Control endorsement (essential)Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (essential)Previous experience in a Security Supervisor, Team Leader or Senior Security Officer positionRetail, commercial or customer-facing security experience preferredDemonstrated leadership and people management skillsStrong conflict resolution and incident management abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong computer literacy and reporting experienceProfessional presentation and customer-focused approachAbility to work independently while effectively leading a team
