A proud Australian business, our client is seeking to strengthen its accounting & finance team with this current hire on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Description

Reporting into the Finance Manager, the key scope of this role includes:

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to streamline processes.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Managing Accounts Payable and Receivables.

Profile

A successful Accountant should have:





- CA/CPA Qualified (or working towards).
- Prior background in civil, plant, labour hire or manufacturing sector.
- Robust knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Xero system exposure (desired).
