Key Responsibilities
- Manage month‑end activities including journals, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare monthly performance reports with clear analysis and commentary
- Complete regulatory reporting such as Quarterly Financial Returns (QFR)
- Reconcile aged care funding streams
- Assist with audits, statutory reporting, and year‑end financial statements
- Work with operational managers to resolve financial issues and support decision‑making
- Contribute to process improvements, ERP optimisation,
and reporting enhancements
- Maintain strong financial controls and accurate records across aged care operations
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Experience in aged care or not‑for‑profit environments is highly desirable
- CPA or CA qualification
- Strong background in financial and management accounting
- Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and compliance requirements
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office capability
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement capability
