Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, examination, and analysis of financial records, statements, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Process financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, while maintaining proper documentation and record keeping.
- Reconcile and verify the accuracy of various financial data, identifying discrepancies and addressing them in a timely manner.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide support in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Contribute to the implementation and improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
- Assist in the maintenance of fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial information.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
