About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring all site equipment and facilities are maintained, repaired, and operated to the required engineering and safety standards. You will carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on plant and equipment, with a strong focus on workplace safety, equipment reliability, and maximising production efficiency.

You will play a key role in supporting efficient milling and packing operations, minimising downtime, and contributing to overall team performance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and optimise plant, equipment and site facilities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation

- Perform preventative, corrective,



and mechanical maintenance activities

- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and operational issues

- Respond to breakdowns efficiently

- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, and site presentation

- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality systems and OH&S; requirements

About You

We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused, and hands-on Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

You will ideally bring:

- Experience in plant maintenance or industrial maintenance within a manufacturing, food processing, or similar environment

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Willingness to work and available for call outs

- Good communication and record-keeping skills

- Commitment to workplace safety and hygiene standards

What will set you apart

- Experience in plant maintenance, mechanical fitting, or industrial maintenance

- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and maintaining processing equipment in a safety-focused workplace.
