We are seeking a skilled and passionate Beauty Therapist / Dermal Therapist to join the Hush Beauty team in Emerald, VIC. This is a part-time position offering flexibility whilst delivering exceptional beauty and skincare services to our valued clients. In this role, you will be at the heart of our business, providing professional treatments and personalised skincare solutions that enhance our clients' confidence and wellbeing. Your expertise and warm demeanour will be crucial in building lasting client relationships and contributing to the welcoming atmosphere Hush Beauty is known for.

Key responsibilities

1. Deliver a comprehensive range of beauty and dermal therapy treatments, including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and skin analysis services

2. Provide professional skincare consultations and personalised treatment recommendations based on individual client needs and skin conditions

3. Maintain high standards of hygiene,



sanitation and sterilisation procedures in accordance with industry regulations and best practices

4. Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional customer service and follow-up care guidance

5. Keep detailed client records and treatment notes to ensure continuity of care and track client progress

6. Stay current with the latest beauty and dermal therapy trends, techniques and products

7. Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues when required

8. Assist with retail product recommendations and sales where appropriate

9. Maintain a clean, welcoming and organised treatment workplace

What we're looking for

Current qualification as a Beauty Therapist or Dermal Therapist (Certificate III or higher in Beauty Services or Dermal Science)

1. Working knowledge of skincare products, ingredients and their effects on various skin types and conditions

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for client care

3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced salon environment

4. Professional presentation and grooming standards

5. Reliability and punctuality

6. Experience with dermal needling, laser treatments or advanced skincare treatments is preferred but not essential

7. Experience in a salon or spa setting is advantageous
