In-Home Care Support Workers – Aged Care & Disability (Casual)

Huonville, Ranelagh, Cygnet, Southport, Margate, Snug & surrounding areas

We're growing and have multiple casual opportunities for compassionate and reliable In-Home Care Support Workers to join our team across Huonville, Ranelagh, Cygnet, Southport, Margate, Snug and surrounding communities.

About the Role

You'll provide one-on-one support to clients in their homes, helping them achieve their goals while maintaining their independence, dignity and quality of life. Most of our current opportunities are supporting people living with disability, with some aged care clients also requiring assistance.

Typical duties may include:

- Personal care

- Domestic assistance

- Social support and community access

- Meal preparation

- Transport to appointments and activities

Most shifts are between 1–2 hours, with longer shifts available depending on client needs. Opportunities for occasional weekend and overnight (sleepover) shifts are also available.

About You

We're looking for caring, adaptable and dependable people who enjoy making a genuine difference in the lives of others.

Ideally, you'll have:

- A Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing and/or Disability) or a related qualification

- Availability Monday to Friday between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm

- A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle

- The ability to travel between client homes

- A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care

Experience in the care sector is highly regarded; however, we also welcome applications from people looking to start a rewarding career.



We have opportunities for non-qualified support workers providing social support, domestic assistance and transport, with on-the-job training available.

What you will need:

Essential

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

- Willingness to work regular 1-2 hour shifts with possibility of longer should client choice allow

- Current First Aid & CPR certificates

- Smartphone with internet access

- Proof of Working Rights in Australia

- Excellent written and verbal skills (English)





- Competent in the use of different technologies (e.g Alayacare, Intranet, Xero Me)

- Excellent understanding of WHS requirements for Hazard and Incident logging and management

- Current Australian Driver's License and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance

- Physical capability to assist with manual handling, domestic assistance and personal care tasks
