We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to support the delivery of major civil works associated with a large-scale gold processing facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supervisor with a strong background in mining construction and civil infrastructure projects. Working within an Owner's Team environment, you will supervise contractors and coordinate daily construction activities to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

The Chance

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will oversee day-to-day civil construction activities across a portfolio of major project work packages. You will be responsible for ensuring contractors execute works in accordance with project schedules, engineering specifications and site safety requirements.

This role requires a strong field presence and the ability to effectively coordinate multiple work fronts within an active mining operation.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily civil construction activities across major project work packages
- Coordinate contractors and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient project delivery
- Monitor construction progress against schedule and identify potential delays
- Conduct field inspections to ensure works comply with engineering drawings, specifications and quality standards
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture through visible leadership in the field
- Participate in pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and daily planning sessions
- Liaise with Construction Managers, Project Engineers, Operations and contractors to coordinate project interfaces
- Identify construction risks and escalate issues with practical mitigation strategies




- Verify completed works and support project commissioning and handover activities
- Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and contractor performance documentation

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

- Demonstrated experience as a Civil Supervisor on major mining or heavy industrial projects
- Strong background supervising large civil construction scopes, including earthworks, concrete, drainage, structural foundations and infrastructure works
- Experience working within processing plant or mining infrastructure environments
- Proven ability to supervise multiple contractors in an operational mining environment
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Sound understanding of construction sequencing, quality control and safety compliance
- Relevant trade qualification, civil construction qualification or engineering background highly regarded
