We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of major civil works associated with a large-scale gold processing facility.

This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced construction professional with a strong background in delivering complex civil scopes within major mining projects. Working within an Owner's Team workplace, you will be responsible for safely managing construction activities, contractors and project interfaces to ensure successful project delivery.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee the execution of significant civil construction packages across a major processing facility expansion. You will provide on-site leadership throughout the construction phase, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.

This role requires a proactive leader who is comfortable working across multiple contractors and stakeholder groups within an active mining environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the safe execution of major civil construction works across a gold processing facility
- Manage principal contractors and subcontractors throughout all phases of construction
- Ensure construction activities are delivered in accordance with project schedules, budgets and quality requirements




- Coordinate construction interfaces with engineering, operations and commissioning teams
- Monitor contractor performance, productivity and compliance with site standards
- Identify construction risks and implement practical mitigation strategies
- Conduct regular site inspections, progress reviews and contractor meetings
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements
- Provide regular progress reporting to senior project stakeholders
- Support project completion, commissioning and handover activities

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

- Extensive experience as a Construction Manager on major mining or heavy industrial projects
- Strong background delivering large civil construction scopes within mining environments
- Experience working on processing plant, infrastructure or sustaining capital projects
- Proven ability to manage multiple contractors and complex construction interfaces
- Strong knowledge of construction planning, scheduling and project controls
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills




- Relevant Engineering qualification or Trade background with significant construction management experience
- Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership within operational mining environments
