Accounts Payable Officer
Council is seeking to appoint a maximum term part time Accounts Payable Officer to contribute to Council’s success.
This is a job share opportunity working 29 hours per fortnight, with a projected end date of May 2027. Preferred work days will be Thursday and Friday, however there is flexibility for reduced daily hours, worked Wednesday to Friday.

About the Role
The purpose of this position is to process the accounts payable functions within Council, and provide expert advice and customer service to the internal and external customers of Council in accordance with Council’s polices and corporate standards.
You will bring:
- Demonstrable relevant skills, and experience in an accounts and/or procurement environment.
- Sound interpersonal and communication (verbal and written English) skills, to effectively liaise with customers and employees.
- Problem solving skills to effectively resolve customers enquiries.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
- Legally able to drive a motor vehicle in Queensland.
Please note, remuneration for this position is pro-rata of the annual salary.
