About the Role
Our Melbourne campuses are hiring a full‑time Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator with at least two years of full‑time experience. The annual salary is $68,865–$80,000 plus super, dependent on qualifications and experience.
The objective of this role is to provide high‑quality education, development and care for children while creating an exceptional customer and partnership experience with families. Key accountabilities include:
- Ensure child safety and welfare at all times by actively supervising and interacting with children.
- Deliver education and care to the highest standards.
- Encourage meaningful, open interactions that support skill acquisition for life and learning.
- Interact with each child warmly and responsively, building trusting relationships.
- Maintain a nurturing and loving environment on campus.
- Adhere to national regulations, the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Contribute to documentation for the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
- Implement and maintain daily routines and program delivery specific to each learning area.
- Implement the Grow curriculum within the campus.
- Document children’s learning through the OAC Connect app and mentor other team members.
- Create engaging learning environments in line with the OAC Grow strategy.
- Collaborate with team members and support developmental outcomes and readiness as directed by the Campus Director.

Skills and Experience Requirements
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognised Registered Training Organisation (or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification).
- Minimum of two years of full‑time relevant experience.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and development.
- A creative, supportive and cooperative team player.
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee).
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
