Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the NSW Construction team through efficient administration, reporting, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement. This role ensures timely and accurate coordination of multiple projects to drive successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the delivery of multi-site construction projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Manage subcontractor relationships, ensuring compliance, performance, and safety standards are met.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules using industry-standard tools.
- Provide Procore support to field-based staff and construction partners.
- Prepare and present project reports, tracking progress and identifying risks or delays.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and stakeholder engagement.
- Facilitate ongoing collaboration with the Site Manager through regular team meetings to review progress, address emerging issues, and monitor cost performance.
- Coordinate closely with field-based teams to manage change requests, traffic permits, project start dates, and material deliveries, while proactively resolving site-specific design and construction challenges.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Project Coordinator or Officer role within construction or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and drive accountability.
- Strong proficiency in project scheduling and reporting systems (e.g., MS Project, Power BI or similar).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Background in engineering or construction management, or similar.
- Thrives in high-pressure environments and can respond swiftly to urgent demands.
- Proficient in Procore and other project management and field coordination platforms.
- Good understanding of electrical, solar and battery construction practices is desirable.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
