We are a proud Tasmanian not-for-profit childcare provider of Long Day Care, Outside School Hours Care, Vacation Care and state-wide Family Day Care services. We encourage outdoor and self-directed play, getting messy and having fun within caring and protected boundaries.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

· Support OSHC Coordinators to operate services in accordance with the relevant Law, Regulations, policies and procedures.

· Ensure that the program offered by staff is of a professional standard,



meets the individual needs of the families using the services and is based on current, innovative early childhood care and education research and practice.

· Monitor and evaluate OSHC Coordinator performance on an ongoing basis and complete annual reviews in accordance with policy.

· In conjunction with the DCEO, contribute to the development and monitoring of an annual budget for the service.

· Contribute to effective and efficient administration of the service through development of systems and processes that support services meet performance standards.

· Manage the efficient utilisation of resources and make resourcing decisions within budgeted limits.

· Participate as an active member of the Executive Leadership Team, contributing to the development and achievement of the organisation’s operational and strategic objectives.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

· Working towards or completed Certificate III , Diploma, or Advanced Diploma in Children's Services, Early Childhood Education and Care, or a related field.

· Current First Aid qualification, or willingness to obtain and maintain.

· Knowledge of Child Safe Environments responsibilities and compliance requirements.

· Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF).

· Hold a valid Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) card.

· Undertake a pre-employment medical assessment.
