Broadsheet Media is looking for an experienced video producer to join our team of in-house producers working across commercial, editorial and brand projects, with a specific focus on commercial output. They will lead content creation across the campaign production pipeline, from initial concept development through to final delivery, as well as assisting lead producers with other production tasks.
The successful candidate will combine production expertise with a flair for vertical video storytelling and native integration of commercial stakeholders, understanding the kind of short-form social video that resonates with audiences on Instagram, Tik Tok and YouTube.
We are looking for someone who is agile, collaborative and adept at prioritising in a busy environment, and who will work closely with Broadsheet’s commercial and audience teams to deliver a pipeline of video content that is engaging, entertaining and authoritative.
The Role
The video producer is involved in the ideation, production and delivery of best-in-class video content across all of Broadsheet's channels.
Key responsibilities include liaising with Broadsheet’s commercial & strategy teams during pre-sale concept and costing stage; pre-production including onboarding crew and talent; on-set production and management; post-production; equipment management; budget management; and social media content creation. Please note that this role can involve extensive domestic travel, as well as the possibility of international travel.
This is a hands-on production role, involving ideation and full-cycle production. In addition to coordinating and overseeing crewed productions, the producer will also be required to independently shoot and edit compelling iPhone video content.
The successful candidate will have a firm understanding of production standards and logistics and a positive, proactive approach to every project. Strong communication skills, an enviable contact book and a collaborative nature are essential, as is someone who relishes finding creative solutions to challenges and building great relationships with talent and crew.
Reporting into Broadsheet’s Video Producer (Brand Lead), they ensure Broadsheet’s video output not only adheres to the company’s editorial and commercial standards, but is also sharp, informed and original. Their projects will be completed on budget and on time, with outcomes that deepen Broadsheet's reputation as a trusted cultural authority, tastemaker and commercial partner.
We are looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced settings and brings energy, creativity and a flexible, solutions-focused mindset to their work.
