We are seeking a full time Human Resources Administrator at The Reef Hotel Casino, the pre-eminent centre for gaming, entertainment, food and accommodation in Cairns.

An exciting opportunity is now available for a focused individual who is eager to learn, shows initiative, and enjoys working in a structured environment to establish their generalist HR career and be professionally mentored. In this role, you will support the business across a range of HR activities and work closely with the Executive Manager Human Resources and the wider HR Team.

This role would suit someone with advanced, recent relevant administrative experience who is keen to pursue a career in HR, or a recent graduate with HR qualifications. If applicable, temporary part time arrangements may be considered to accommodate study commitments.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide support across day-to-day HR administration and HR systems.

- Assist with key HR portfolios including Recruitment, Training, Performance Management, Industrial Relations, and Workplace Health & Safety.

- Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and documentation as required.

- Maintain accurate records and follow established procedures.

Criteria

- Formal HR Qualifications or currently studying towards them (desirable but not essential).

- Strong communication and organisation skills,



with the ability to adapt to changing priorities

- Competent using Microsoft Office particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and learning recent systems.

- Ability to take initiative and work independently while knowing when to seek support and collaborate.

- Ability to work in a structured and highly regulated environment.

- Friendly, professional and approachable, with the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of the business.

- Previous experience in hospitality highly regarded.
