About The Role

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Perioperative Registered Nurses with experience in Scrub/ Scout and Endoscopy to join our clinical team on a Part-time and Casual basis.

Great work/ life balance - Monday to Friday flexible roster. No weekends, public holidays or overnight shifts

Duties And Responsibilities

This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.

Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient careEnsure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgeryEnsure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focusMonitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complicationsDeliver education and support to patients for the management of their recoverySupervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift

About You

You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:

Solid experience in Perioperative Scrub/ Scout and Endoscopy nursingCurrent AHPRA registration as a nurseExceptional interpersonal and communication skills A true commitment to delivering high quality patient care Experience in the below specialties highly desirable

About The Hospital

Tennyson Centre Day Hospital is a purpose-built day surgery with two Operating Theatres, three Procedure Rooms and Recovery.

We specialise in Ophthalmology, Urology, Minor Plastic Surgery, Oral Surgery, Gastroenterology and Endoscopy.
