Temporary Full Time: 38 Hours per week until 24 November 2026

Band 4 Salary range: $73,617.96 - $78,471.29 per year plus 12% Superannuation

About the role

As a member of the Customer Focus Team, you will work across both our Contact Centre and Headquarters Front Counter providing a high level of customer service to Latrobe City Councils customers.

As the first point of contact for customer calls and face to face enquiries, you will provide a level of service to the Latrobe City community that exceeds expectations. You will be a part of actively promoting Council services to the community, ensuring information is provided in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.

You will have the opportunity to become part of an energetic, enthusiastic and friendly customer service team that work collaboratively, providing support to one another to deliver astounding results.

About You

We are currently seeking someone with a helpful attitude, excellent communication skills and passion for providing a positive customer service experience to the community of Latrobe City.

You will have:

- Previous experience in the customer service sector; either customer facing or over the phone
- A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service
- Demonstrated computer skills with the ability to learn new programs and software quickly and efficiently
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to contribute to a team setting as well as operate alone
