Location: Hamilton or Warrnambool (Versatile/Hybrid/Remote options available)

Salary range: Band 6 ($100,255 – $ 109,167 + Super)

FTE: 1.0

About the position:

The GIS Transition Lead will provide technical leadership for the establishment of a governed, resilient and organisation-wide GIScapability through delivery of the Glenelg Hopkins CMA GIS Roadmap.

The role will act as the GIS Platform Owner and Data Steward during initial implementation and will be responsible for developing standards, governance arrangements, datamanagement systems, training programs and business processes that support the organisation’s transition to a QGIS-firstenvironment.

The position will drive implementation of key initiatives across data, systems,



people and procedures to ensure spatialinformation becomes a trusted organisational asset supporting waterway management, floodplain management, emergencyresponse, environmental planning and corporate reporting.
