We're looking for an experienced and motivated 4x4 Accessory Fitter, Mechanic, or Underbody Technician to join our busy workshop specializing in the installation of premium long-range fuel tanks.

If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, and have a passion for 4WDs and the automotive industry, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll work on a wide variety of vehicles, from brand-new 4x4s to older models and fully customized touring vehicles, installing long-range replacement and auxiliary fuel tanks, stainless steel water tanks, and carrying out repairs and troubleshooting.

About the Role

- Install long-range replacement and auxiliary fuel tanks
- Fit stainless steel water tanks
- Diagnose and carry out repairs and troubleshooting
- Assist with product development and prototype installations when required
- Provide customer support via phone and in person, including technical advice and troubleshooting
- Conduct vehicle handovers and explain completed installations to customers




- Assist in other areas of the manufacturing process during quiet times
- Exhaust modification and rework when required

About You

- At least 12 months'experience in a mechanical, automotive accessory fitting, or similar automotive role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence using workshop tools and equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to follow written and verbal instructionsA robust work ethic with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to workplace health and safety
