All Souls St Gabriels School is seeking an organised and proactive Academic Services Officer to join our Senior School team on a 12-month maternity leave contract.
Reporting to the Dean of Studies, this role provides high-level administrative support across Senior School academic programs, with a strong focus on Vocational Education and Training (VET), student pathways, compliance, examinations and academic records.
About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding position that supports students, staff and families while ensuring the smooth administration of Senior School academic services.
- Coordinating VET programs, work placements, apprenticeships and traineeships
- Liaising with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), employers and external providers
- Supporting QCAA administration and compliance requirements
- Coordinating external examinations and testing programs
- Managing student records and academic data
- Assisting with academic reporting processes
- Supporting the Dean of Studies with day-to-day administration and scheduling
- Promoting student pathway opportunities and supporting student success
About the Candidate
You will be an experienced administrator who can manage competing priorities, maintain confidentiality and build strong relationships with students, families and staff.
- Current Queensland Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
- Legal right to work in Australia
- Experience in school administration
- Strong computer and data management skills
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Skilled, confidential and student-focused approach
Desirable
- Experience with VET administration
- Knowledge of QCAA processes
- Experience working in an educational environment
