About the chance

At Mercy Health, each moment, no matter how small, truly matters - and as a laundry assistant, you’ll help create cherished moments and better health outcomes for residents each day.

- Sort, wash, dry and fold laundry items according to organisation standards
- Operate washing machines, dryers and other laundry equipment
- Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or wear and report any issues
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area

What you’ll bring

You’re resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are committed to delivering exceptional resident-centred care.

- Experience in managing housekeeping and laundry functions.
- Experience working within Aged Care desirable.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

- A current Police Record Check or NDIS clearance Check.
