Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Team Leader Administration to contribute to Council's success.

About the Role
This position is a key leadership role and is responsible for overseeing administration operations to support the Operations Business Units. This role operates under limited direction ensuring effective information flow and resources are deployed efficiently for the overall administration support and assistance across the whole of Operation's Business Units.
Your role will include:
- Promoting a positive Workplace Health and Safety culture and ensure active compliance
- Developing your career in local government
- Being present, pro-active and solutions-focused and recognise that the community is the core of our business.
You will bring:
- Certificate IV in Business Administration and/or substantial discipline knowledge, skills and expertise gained from working a similar role in professional environment.
- Solid interpersonal skills and effective communication (verbal and written English) including listening and critical thinking skills to effectively liaise with your team and internal and external customers.
- Well-developed organisation and time management skills to simultaneously work towards and achieve multiple deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Sound knowledge of and experience applying Work Health and Safety Act and Regulation 2011 and Human Resource Management principles and counselling skills in the context of leading and supervising a professional administration team.
- Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
- Legally able to drive a motor vehicle in Queensland.
