About the role

The Barwon Physician Training Program is a smaller, highly supportive and comprehensive training program designed to progress trainees through Basic Physician Training Years 1-3 and maximise opportunities to progress into their preferred Advanced Training program.

Key responsibilities

- Participate in the Barwon Physician Training Program across a range of rotations
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Engage in education, training and examination preparation activities
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

What we’re looking for





- Medical practitioner eligible for appointment to a Basic Physician Training position
- Commitment to progression through the RACP Basic Physician Training Program
- Strong clinical, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team workplace
