Job Description

The Anna Centre is seeking an experienced Counsellor to join our growing team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will provide counselling and psychosocial support to individuals across EAP and wellbeing programs. This position does not involve Medicare-rebatable services.

You will work within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment with strong administrative systems, allowing you to focus on client care and outcomes.

Key responsibilities

- Deliver individual counselling and psychosocial support
- Conduct comprehensive client intakes and assessments
- Develop, implement and review client support plans
- Deliver evidence-based counselling interventions
- Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as required
- Prepare accurate and timely clinical notes and reports
- Communicate effectively with referrers and internal stakeholders
- Maintain compliant client records in line with legislation and policy
- Participate in service delivery, program development and quality improvement initiatives

About the Candidate





- Relevant qualification in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years full-time (or equivalent) post-qualification counselling experience
- Demonstrated experience delivering counselling interventions in a professional setting
- Strong communication, documentation and report-writing skills
- Good organisational and time-management capability
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to ethical, culturally safe and client-centred practice

Work Environment

- Salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 + super
