Calibre Resourcing Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Contracts Advisor for a 12-month contract supporting a major mining operation.

Working closely with operational, maintenance and project teams, you'll play a key role in delivering commercially sound outcomes while supporting safe, reliable and cost-effective operations., As the Contracts Advisor, you will be responsible for managing sourcing and tendering activities across a range of operational and project contracts.
- Leading sourcing and tender activities
- Preparing and managing RFIs, RFQs and tender documentation
- Conducting commercial evaluations and cost analysis
- Negotiating commercial terms and contract conditions
- Supporting contractor selection and contract award recommendations
- Identifying and managing commercial and contractual risks
- Working closely with operations, maintenance and project teams
- Ensuring procurement activities align with governance and compliance requirements
- Supporting contract mobilisation and continuous commercial improvement
About the Candidate
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in Contracts, Procurement or Commercial roles
- Experience managing tender processes from initiation through to award
- Strong commercial negotiation skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities
- High level analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of risk management
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Highly Regarded
- Previous experience within the mining, construction or heavy industry sectors
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience working with ERP systems and tender platforms
- Professional procurement qualifications (CIPS, CPSM or similar)
