The Role

Based in our Showroom you will be providing inspiring solutions to our customers. Additionally, you will continue to build our customer base by pursuing sales leads, carrying out measures, producing job costings/quotes for customers, overseeing installations and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities and Duties

Attending to the Sales Floor

- Maintain a high standard of store presentation





- Assist customers visiting store by following standard sales process

- Provide informed advice and solutions to customer’s needs

- Provide information about warranties, manufacturing specifications, care and maintenance of product and delivery options

- Carry out measures for customers

- Produce accurate job costing for each customer order

- Provide quote for customer and bring sale to conclusion

Developing Customer Base

- Customer follow up procedures

- Pursue all sales leads to completion

- Achieve sales and profit targets set

Project Management

- Order stock and book layers associated with job

- Manage installation diary of installers work

- Assist in managing preparation of floor coverings and dispatch on day of installation

- Ensure completion of installation satisfactorily

Sales Administration

- Accurately maintain all customer data in database

- Maintain Store Measure Diary

- Maintain Customer Sample Register

- Update Daily Banking Records

- Maintain Price Ticketing

- Assist with Inventory Stock take

Work Standards

- Complete Customer Details forms for every prospective customer

- Follow up customer enquires in a timely manner

- Send out and follow up of quotes

- Be punctual for measure and quotes

- Fill out paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

- Ensure job costings are accurate

- Achieve required sales, gross profit and conversion targets

Skills and Experience

- Sales excellence with experience in customer facing roles (Desirable)

- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on delivering a outstanding experience to our customers (Essential)

- Competent computer skills (Essential)
