A large enterprise organisation is migrating its planning, budgeting and reporting onto Oracle Cloud EPM, moving off a legacy Hyperion estate ahead of a go-live in the upcoming financial year. It is a pivotal piece of work for the Finance function, and we are looking for a senior, finance-facing EPM specialist to own the functional side of it.
What you’ll own
- The bridge between Finance and IT, translating business requirements into functional EPM solutions
- Functional design of financial structures, business rules, workflows and security models
- Reporting, analytics and planning capability, designed alongside Finance stakeholders
- Expert functional advice across budgeting, forecasting, consolidation and reporting
- Functional lead on enhancements: requirements, design, UAT and transition to support
Must have
- CPA or CA qualification (or equivalent), with a strong grounding in budgeting, forecasting, consolidation and reporting
- Proven functional lead or consultant experience on Oracle EPM Cloud, Hyperion or similar planning and reporting platforms
- A track record translating finance requirements into system solutions
- Confidence engaging, influencing and negotiating with senior Finance stakeholders
- The ability to make technical concepts clear to non-technical finance audiences
Nice to have
- Experience migrating from Hyperion to Oracle Cloud EPM
- Experience in Higher Education or another large, complex organisation
Working arrangements
- Hybrid and versatile working available.
Why this role
- Own the functional design on a major finance transformation, not a maintenance seat
- Senior, business-facing role with real influence over how the platform is built
- Shape a greenfield Cloud EPM build ahead of go-live, rather than inherit someone else's
- Day-rate engagement with genuine runway beyond the initial term
The engagement
Initial 6-month day-rate contract with solid opportunity for ongoing work. Perth based. A current National Police Clearance is required.
