About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail leader to step into a hands-on Assistant Manager position based in Rockhampton. Working alongside a highly supportive Store Manager, you’ll lead from the front, coach and develop your team, drive operational performance and deliver exceptional customer experiences in a business where no two days are ever the same. From high-value retail transactions to helping customers through challenging circumstances, you’ll need to be adaptable, resilient and confident making decisions in a fast-paced environment. With structured training, exposure to other regional stores and a genuine internal promotion culture, this role offers an outstanding pathway for someone who is ambitious and ready to build a long-term career.

Skills & Experience





- Previous leadership or management experience in a retail, customer service or fast-paced environment.
- A people-first leadership style with the confidence to coach, hold accountable and have courageous conversations when required.
- Strong commercial awareness, with an understanding of KPIs, team performance and achieving business outcomes.
- Resilient, adaptable and able to thrive in an ever-changing environment where every day brings something different.
- Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and a genuine passion for building relationships with customers, colleagues and the local community.
