About the role

This is a hands-on role suited to a motivated and experienced mechanic, who enjoys working in a busy transport environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Preventative maintenance and servicing of prime movers and fuel tankers

Fault finding and repair of fleet equipment and trailer systems

Completing inspection checklists and maintenance records

Maintaining a clean, secure and organised workshop

Supporting depot compliance and maintenance requirements

Work as part of a team to minimise downtime and keep our fleet moving

What You’ll Need

A recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification

Experience maintaining heavy vehicles and fuel tankers / trailers

Experience with Kenworth prime movers (Cat / Cummins engines highly regarded)

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals





Good communication and teamwork skills

A strong commitment to workplace safety
