We’re seeking expressions of interest for experienced Senior Project Managers to join us in delivering significant energy infrastructure projects. You will work across major Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) developments and large-scale data centre connections, strengthening the network that supports growing communities and accelerates Australia’s transition to a cleaner energy future.
These are complex, high-profile projects requiring strong leadership, strategic thinking and the ability to align diverse stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes. You will have the opportunity to lead major capital investments, collaborate with industry experts and influence projects with lasting impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of major infrastructure projects from design through construction and commissioning.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources and risks to achieve successful outcomes.
- Drive procurement activities, contract management and contractor performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory and governance requirements.
- Resolve project delivery challenges and provide transparent reporting on progress and performance.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration and continuous improvement.
What you bring to the role
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and project management expertise, with a proven track record in delivering capital projects or programs, preferably within the electricity industry.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or related), Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience delivering complex electrical infrastructure or major capital projects within the energy, utilities or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, risk management, budgeting, scheduling and project controls.
- Proven experience managing contractors, consultants and engineering contracts, with an understanding of commercial and contractual frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to navigate complex project challenges and deliver practical outcomes.
- Knowledge of safety, environmental, regulatory and governance requirements within a project delivery environment.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project and business systems, including Microsoft Office and SAP or similar platforms.
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and drive successful outcomes.
