We are also fully registered commercial and residential builders. We are seeking experienced Logistics Officer to join our team and oversee, coordinate, and facilitate the supply chain operations of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of goods from procurement to delivery, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution
- Monitor, track, and maintain accurate inventory levels using logistics software to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Plan and optimise transportation routes and schedules to maximise efficiency and reduce costs
- Coordinates personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods
- Prepare shipping documentation (bills of lading, invoices) and ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations
- Generate final inventory of materials prior to shipment
- Ensures outgoing shipments are in good condition and meet specifications
- Maintains prescribed records of goods received and dispatched
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and retailers when required
- Address issues related to damaged goods, lost shipments, or delays
- Analyse supply chain performance metrics and prepare reports on costs and efficiency
- Responsible for supervising and accounting for an inventory
