About the role
This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience in the domestic electrical industry. You will work alongside experienced electricians while completing a nationally recognised qualification.
- Assisting qualified electricians with a variety of domestic electrical work.
- Learning the fundamentals of electrical installations, maintenance and repairs.
- Using and maintaining electrical tools and equipment under supervision.
- Completing general site support duties while developing practical electrical skills.
What we're looking for
- Punctual, reliable and motivated, with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Strong mathematical ability, with a demonstrated commitment to achieving good results in mathematics.
- A current White Card is essential.
- A driver's licence and reliable transport are preferred.
- Completion of an electrical pre-apprenticeship or relevant technical college course is desirable but not essential.
Previous experience using hand tools or power tools is not required. The successful candidate will receive training and support and should be willing to listen, follow instructions and learn from the ground up.

The team provides a supportive, hands-on learning environment where apprentices receive direct guidance and practical experience across a variety of residential projects.
The employer is open to candidates with no previous electrical experience and is committed to teaching the successful apprentice the skills required to build a successful career in the electrical industry. Please note: The role involves travelling to different residential job sites. The successful candidate will generally meet the team at the Wauchope workshop at approximately 6:30 am before travelling to job locations in a company vehicle. Working hours may vary depending on project requirements.
